NHS England starts detailed implementation planning for tyrosinaemia screening
Detailed planning work under way for implementation of newborn screening for tyrosinaemia in England.
Jane works in the NHS England Vaccination and Screening Directorate with responsibility for the implementation of new screening conditions and in-service evaluations. She was previously National Programme Manager for the NHS Newborn Hearing Screening Programme. Her background is in nursing and midwifery and her interest in screening began in 1996 when working in Essex as an Antenatal Screening Specialist Midwife. Outside work, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and grandchildren, in the New Forest where she lives. She and her family enjoy spending time at their beach hut, paddle boarding and sea-swimming throughout the year.
