David Baldwin is a consultant respiratory physician at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and honorary professor of medicine at the University of Nottingham. He is NHS England Lead Clinician for Lung Cancer, Chair of the UK Clinical Expert Group for Lung Cancer and works with the Department of Health and Social Care as an Advisor to the UK National Screening Committee. His research is focused on lung cancer screening, epidemiology and reducing variation in care.
The NHS Lung Cancer Screening Programme has developed a new national protocol for the management of incidental findings detected by the programme.
