In 2016 the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) was piloting a new approach for reviewing existing screening programmes.
The UK NSC is consulting on introducing NIPT to the screening programme for Down’s syndrome, Edwards’ syndrome and Patau’s syndrome.

screening programmes.
