The UK National Screening Committee consultation on screening for severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) in the NHS.
John is the Evidence Lead for the NHS Screening Programmes. He has worked for the UK National Screening Committee since 2003 and helped establish the evidence team in 2013.
In 2016 the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) was piloting a new approach for reviewing existing screening programmes.
The UK NSC is consulting on introducing NIPT to the screening programme for Down’s syndrome, Edwards’ syndrome and Patau’s syndrome.
